Website audit

Your website gets visits. It should be getting clients.

In 5 working days you know why visitors leave without booking, calling or asking for a quote, and what to fix first, ordered by impact. A website conversion audit focused on one thing: turning visits into customers.

From €490 · 5 working days · Hotels, restaurants, workshops, dealerships and law firms

Website conversion audit: a hotel website on a phone with annotated problems and the audit findings

Sound familiar?

People come in and leave.

Traffic is fine, enquiries are not. Nobody can tell you why.

They call to ask what the website already says.

Opening hours, prices, how to book. The information is there, but not where anyone looks.

They book through Booking or call the competition.

Your own website is the most expensive channel to ignore.

The site looks fine on your screen.

On the phone of someone standing outside your door, it does not.

What I look at

Eight areas, on your home page and the pages your customers actually go through, on phone and desktop.

First impression

In five seconds: is it clear what you offer, for whom and where?

The path to booking

How many steps and how many snags between landing and booking, calling or asking.

Buttons and forms

Are they visible, in the right order, asking only what you need?

Trust

Real reviews, real photos, real data, guarantees and legal pages where people expect them.

Mobile

Most of your visitors are on a phone. The site has to work there first.

Speed

Load times and image weight, the basics that make people give up.

Accessibility basics

Contrast, sizes, focus and alt text. Good for everyone, not just the law.

Words

Do they talk about the customer or about the company? Is there jargon and filler?

Built for the sectors I know

The review is the same. What changes is the module I add, based on how your customers actually buy.

Hotels, restaurants and leisure

People look at your rooms or your menu and end up booking elsewhere.

The module

Your booking engine and how visible it is, the jump to external sites, direct booking versus Booking and the rest, menu and allergens, table reservation, room photos, and whether the second language actually works.

Workshops and dealerships

The phone rings for things the website should handle.

The module

Booking a workshop appointment, stock and vehicle pages, financing and trade-in, opening hours and phone number where they belong, WhatsApp.

Law firms

People are not sure you handle their case, so they do not write.

The module

Clear practice areas, the first consultation, trust signals (bar membership, team, cases) and contact forms that do not scare anyone away.

What lands in your inbox

A PDF report, 15 to 25 pages, with annotated screenshots.

Every problem shown on your own site, not described in the abstract.

The 10 problems that cost you the most, ranked by impact and effort.

So you know where to start.

One page of quick wins.

Things you or whoever manages your site can fix this week.

A 30 to 45 minute video call.

To go through the report and answer questions. Recorded if you want it.

How it works

Book and pay

Choose a plan and pay by card. You get the receipt and invoice by email and land straight on the questionnaire.

Five-minute questionnaire

Right after paying, you tell me what the site is for, who it is for and what worries you. Visitor data if you have it; if not, no problem.

I audit

Five working days from payment and questionnaire. We agree together which pages matter most; I guide, you know your business.

Report and call

You get the PDF and we go through it on a video call. Fifteen days later I check in to see what you have applied.

One price, no surprises

The price depends on how many pages I review, not on the size of your business.

Miguel Recio, identity and web designer

Who is looking at your site

I’m Miguel Recio, identity and web designer with more than ten years of work behind me. I design brands and websites for agencies in Spain and Canada and for businesses directly: hotels and restaurants, workshops and dealerships, law firms, energy companies. I have built the sites that get audited and the audits that fix them, so I know what is worth changing and what is not. Based in Zamora, Spain. Working in Spanish and English.

What this is not

Not a redesign, not implementation of the changes, not deep technical SEO, not analytics setup, not user testing and not ongoing reviews. All of that can be quoted separately, and the audit tells you whether you need it.

Questions

01

What do I need to give you?

The address of your site, five minutes for the questionnaire right after paying and, if you have them, visitor data. Nothing else. I do not need access to your CMS.

02

Do I need Google Analytics?

No. If you have data, it makes the report sharper. If you do not, the audit still works: most problems are visible on the site itself.

03

Do you make the changes afterwards?

Not as part of the audit. The report tells you what to fix; you or your developer can do it, or you can hire me. If it becomes a redesign of €2,000 or more within 60 days, you get 10% off.

04

What if my site is very large?

The Express covers the home page plus three pages; the Full covers up to eight. Beyond that, or for online shops and complex platforms, I quote separately.

05

Does it work if my site is on WordPress, Wix, Shopify or something else?

Yes. I review what your customers see, not the tool behind it.

06

When do you start?

Usually within a week of payment and questionnaire. I take a limited number of audits a month so each one gets five clean days.

07

Do I get an invoice?

Yes, always. You pay by card and the invoice arrives by email: Spanish businesses with VAT and their tax ID, international clients without taxes. Tick “I’m providing a tax ID” at checkout and enter your CIF. If your company needs to apply IRPF withholding, write to me and I will invoice by bank transfer instead.

Not sure yet? Ask me first.

To book, pick a plan above and pay by card: you land on the questionnaire and the five days start. If you want to check something before that, write here and I reply within one working day.
