UX/UI design and design systems in Figma.
For digital products, dashboards and large websites: I learn how your clients use it, design flows and clickable prototypes and leave a component system your team can use without asking about every detail.
UX audit · Flows · Prototypes · Design systems · Developer handoff

When every screen is designed apart, the product shows it.
Different buttons in every section, flows that make people think, developers filling gaps in the design. Good UX/UI work orders the user journey, and a design system makes everything get built the same way, faster and with fewer bugs.
Fewer doubts in use.
Flows tested with prototypes before any code is written.
Fewer revision rounds.
Prototypes clients understand the first time.
Faster development.
Documented components with clear states, sizes and styles.
What I do
By phase or by the hour, embedded with your product or agency team.
UX audit
I review what exists and rank the issues by impact and effort.
Flows and wireframes
The journey of each task, start to finish, before the visual design.
Interface and prototypes
Visual design and clickable prototypes for desktop and phone, to test with clients.
Design system
Styles, components and documentation in Figma, ready for development.

What clients say
The quality and interactivity of his prototypes have been outstanding, consistently impressing our clients and significantly reducing the typical revision cycles we usually experience. Miguel communicates effectively with our entire team, approaches feedback positively, and adapts quickly to changes while consistently meeting deadlines.
Álvaro AmaroTechnical Product ManagerMiguel is a master of design in every sense. I have carried out several projects with him and the result has been magnificent.
Jorge TorrecillasMarketing Director at RFMEMiguel is a competent and serious professional (meeting deadlines and getting every feature exactly right is not always the norm in this sector), flexible and reasonably priced. It is not easy to find this kind of profile in such a dynamic, in-demand profession.

Questions before you start
01Do you work per project or hourly?
Both. By phase at a fixed price when the scope is clear, or with a monthly block of hours for ongoing work.
02Can you work inside our team?
Yes. I use your tools (Figma, Slack, Notion, Asana or whatever you use) and join your meetings, in English or Spanish.
03Do you do user research?
UX audits, flow analysis and validation with prototypes. For large research studies, I’ll tell you how to set them up.
04What does the dev team get?
A tidy Figma file: components with their states, styles, sizes, auto layout and notes, plus support during development.
05Do you work with agencies?
Yes, often: as part of their design team, under NDA and white-label when needed.
06How much does it cost?
It depends on scope and duration. I send a fixed price per phase or a rate for a block of hours after a call.

Who designs your project
I’m Miguel Recio, identity and web designer with more than ten years of work behind me. I design brands and websites for agencies in Spain and Canada and for businesses directly: hotels and restaurants, workshops and dealerships, law firms, energy companies. I handle everything from the first sketch to the final delivery, so you always talk to the person who designs it. Based in Zamora, Spain. Working in Spanish and English.
